Description

Delicious pork chops smothered in a rich and creamy sauce, perfect for family dinners and special occasions.

Ingredients

  • 4 pork chops
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 onion, sliced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Season the pork chops with salt and pepper.
  2. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat and sear the pork chops for about 4-5 minutes per side until browned. Remove and set aside.
  3. Add sliced onions to the same skillet and cook until caramelized.
  4. Add minced garlic and cook for an additional minute.
  5. Pour in chicken broth and Worcestershire sauce, scraping up any browned bits.
  6. Stir in heavy cream and bring to a simmer.
  7. Return the pork chops to the skillet, cover, and cook on low heat for about 10-15 minutes until fully cooked.
  8. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.

Notes

For a lighter version, substitute heavy cream with half-and-half. Consider using fresh herbs for added flavor.
