Ingredients
- 4 pork chops
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 onion, sliced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Season the pork chops with salt and pepper.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat and sear the pork chops for about 4-5 minutes per side until browned. Remove and set aside.
- Add sliced onions to the same skillet and cook until caramelized.
- Add minced garlic and cook for an additional minute.
- Pour in chicken broth and Worcestershire sauce, scraping up any browned bits.
- Stir in heavy cream and bring to a simmer.
- Return the pork chops to the skillet, cover, and cook on low heat for about 10-15 minutes until fully cooked.
- Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
Notes
For a lighter version, substitute heavy cream with half-and-half. Consider using fresh herbs for added flavor.
