Description

A comforting and indulgent dish combining tender pulled pork with creamy, cheesy macaroni.


Ingredients

  • 1 pound macaroni
  • 2 cups pulled pork
  • 3 cups shredded cheese (cheddar, Monterey Jack, or a blend)
  • 2 cups milk
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon mustard powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs


Instructions

  1. Cook macaroni according to package instructions and set aside.
  2. In a saucepan, melt butter over medium heat and whisk in flour to create a roux.
  3. Gradually add milk, stirring constantly until the mixture thickens.
  4. Stir in cheese until melted and smooth.
  5. Combine the cooked macaroni, pulled pork, mustard powder, salt, and pepper with the cheese sauce.
  6. Pour the mixture into a baking dish and top with breadcrumbs.
  7. Bake in a preheated oven at 350°F (175°C) for 25-30 minutes, or until the top is golden brown.
