A simple yet flavorful one-pan dish featuring seared chicken, tangy balsamic vinegar, roasted tomatoes, and tender broccoli. Perfect for weeknight dinners with minimal cleanup.

Ingredients

  • 4 chicken breasts
  • 1/2 cup balsamic vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 cup cherry tomatoes
  • 1 cup broccoli florets
  • Fresh basil for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a large pan, heat olive oil over medium heat.
  2. Season chicken breasts with salt and pepper, then add to the pan.
  3. Cook chicken for about 5-7 minutes on each side until browned.
  4. Add minced garlic and cherry tomatoes, then pour in balsamic vinegar.
  5. Add broccoli florets.
  6. Cover the pan and let it simmer for about 10 minutes until chicken is cooked through.
  7. Garnish with fresh basil before serving.

Notes

Ensure chicken reaches room temperature for even cooking. Use a heavy skillet to prevent hot spots and avoid overcooking the chicken.
