Ingredients
- 12 Hawaiian rolls
- 1 pound ground beef
- 8 slices cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup pickles, sliced
- 2 tablespoons mustard
- 2 tablespoons ketchup
- 1 onion, diced
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon pepper
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Cook the ground beef in a skillet over medium heat until browned and season with salt and pepper.
- Cut the Hawaiian rolls in half without separating them.
- Place the bottom half of the rolls in a baking dish.
- Layer cooked ground beef evenly over the rolls.
- Add slices of cheddar cheese on top of the beef.
- Top with pickles, mustard, and ketchup to taste.
- Close with the top half of the rolls.
- Bake for about 15 minutes or until the cheese is melted and the tops are golden brown.
- Slice and serve warm.
Notes
For extra flavor, mix Worcestershire sauce into the beef and brush the tops with garlic butter before baking.
