Description

A quick and delicious Honey Garlic Chicken Fried Rice recipe that combines sweet and savory flavors with tender chicken and colorful vegetables.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups cooked rice
  • 1 lb chicken breast, diced
  • 1 cup frozen mixed vegetables (peas, carrots, corn)
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 2 eggs, lightly beaten
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Green onions for garnish


Instructions

  1. Heat vegetable oil in a large pan or wok over medium heat. Add diced chicken and cook until golden brown.
  2. Add minced garlic and stir-fry for 1 minute.
  3. Push the chicken to one side of the pan and pour the beaten eggs on the other side, scrambling them until cooked.
  4. Add the frozen mixed vegetables and cooked rice to the pan.
  5. Mix honey and soy sauce in a small bowl, then pour over the rice mixture.
  6. Stir everything together and cook for another 3-5 minutes until heated through.
  7. Season with salt and pepper to taste, and garnish with chopped green onions before serving.

Notes

For best texture, use day-old rice. Feel free to customize the dish with seasonal vegetables or different proteins.
