Description

Enjoy crispy, homemade potato chips with less oil and easy customization for flavors.

Ingredients

  • 2 large potatoes
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika (optional)
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder (optional)

Instructions

  1. Wash and thinly slice the potatoes using a mandoline or a sharp knife.
  2. Soak the potato slices in water for at least 30 minutes to remove excess starch.
  3. Drain and pat the slices dry with a towel.
  4. Toss the potato slices with olive oil, salt, and any optional seasonings.
  5. Preheat the air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
  6. Place the potato slices in a single layer in the air fryer basket.
  7. Cook for 15-20 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through, until the chips are golden and crispy.
  8. Remove from the air fryer and let them cool slightly before serving.

Notes

Ensure potato slices are uniformly cut and thoroughly dried before tossing with oil for optimal crunchiness.
