Description
A delightful recipe combining tender steak bites and succulent shrimp in a rich garlic butter sauce, perfect for weeknight dinners or special occasions.
Ingredients
- 1 lb sirloin steak, cut into bite-sized cubes
- ½ lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 3 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- Salt and black pepper, to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
- Sear the steak bites: Heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the steak cubes in a single layer. Sear for about 4-5 minutes, stirring occasionally, until browned on all sides. Remove the steak bites from the skillet and set aside.
- Cook the garlic and shrimp: In the same skillet, add the remaining tablespoon of olive oil. Sauté the minced garlic for about 1 minute, until fragrant. Then add the shrimp to the skillet and cook for 2-3 minutes per side, until the shrimp are pink and cooked through.
- Return the steak to the skillet, along with soy sauce, Worcestershire sauce, and paprika. Toss everything to combine and let the flavors meld for a minute or two.
Notes
For best results, ensure your shrimp are thawed and dry if using frozen shrimp. Adding a squeeze of fresh lemon juice before serving can brighten the overall flavor.
