Description

A comforting dish combining juicy chicken and rich buttered noodles, perfect for quick weeknight dinners.

Ingredients

  • 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 8 ounces egg noodles
  • 4 tablespoons butter
  • 2 cups chicken broth
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Chopped parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a large skillet, melt 2 tablespoons of butter over medium heat. Season the chicken with salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
  2. Add the chicken to the skillet and cook for about 5-7 minutes on each side until cooked through. Remove the chicken and set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, add the chicken broth and bring to a boil.
  4. Stir in the egg noodles and cook according to package instructions until al dente.
  5. Once cooked, stir in the remaining butter and adjust seasoning with salt and pepper as needed.
  6. Slice the chicken and serve over the buttered noodles, garnished with chopped parsley.

Notes

For a creamier noodle, stir in a splash of cream or cream cheese at the end. Ensure to measure broth accurately for best results.
