Description

A simple, comforting meal of tender chicken thighs and silky gravy, made effortlessly in a slow cooker.

Ingredients

  • 4 chicken thighs
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1 packet of ranch seasoning mix
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil

Instructions

  1. In a slow cooker, combine the chicken thighs, chicken broth, and ranch seasoning.
  2. Cover and cook on low for 6-7 hours or until the chicken is tender.
  3. Once done, remove the chicken and set aside.
  4. Stir in the heavy cream to the broth mixture and season with salt and pepper.
  5. Return the chicken to the slow cooker and mix well.
  6. Serve hot with gravy over rice or mashed potatoes.

Notes

For a lighter version, use a slurry of cornstarch and water instead of cream. For extra flavor, add a splash of white wine or a bit of Dijon mustard. You can include sliced mushrooms or baby carrots for added nutrition.
