Description

A simple and delicious teriyaki chicken recipe perfect for busy weeknights, made effortlessly in a crockpot.


Ingredients

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup teriyaki sauce
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 1 tablespoon minced garlic
  • 1 tablespoon minced ginger
  • 1 cup broccoli florets
  • Cooked rice or noodles for serving


Instructions

  1. Place the chicken breasts in the crockpot.
  2. In a bowl, mix together the teriyaki sauce, honey, garlic, and ginger.
  3. Pour the sauce mixture over the chicken.
  4. Add the broccoli on top.
  5. Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or high for 3-4 hours.
  6. Once cooked, shred the chicken in the sauce.
  7. Serve over rice or noodles.

Notes

For extra richness, consider adding sesame oil to the sauce. You can also substitute chicken with tofu for a vegetarian option.
