A quick, rich skillet-to-oven recipe with garlic, Parmesan, and a silky sauce for easy weeknight dinners.
Ingredients
- 4 chicken thighs
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
- In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat.
- Season chicken thighs with salt and pepper, then sear them in the skillet until golden brown on both sides.
- Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
- Stir in heavy cream and bring to a simmer.
- Add Parmesan cheese and mix until melted and smooth.
- Return the chicken thighs to the skillet, allowing them to coat in the sauce.
- Transfer the skillet to the preheated oven and bake for 25-30 minutes until the chicken is cooked through.
- Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
Notes
For perfect results, sear the thighs without moving them too soon to ensure a deep brown color. Use an ovenproof skillet so you can move directly from stove to oven without changing pans.
