Ingredients
- 1 cup orzo pasta
- 2 chicken sausages, sliced
- 2 cups broccoli florets
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 1/2 cup parmesan cheese, grated
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Heat olive oil in a large pan over medium heat.
- Add sliced chicken sausage and cook until browned.
- Stir in minced garlic and cook for about 1 minute until fragrant.
- Add the orzo and chicken broth, bringing it to a boil.
- Once boiling, reduce heat to a simmer and add the broccoli florets.
- Cover and cook for about 10-12 minutes, or until the orzo is tender and has absorbed most of the liquid.
- Remove from heat and stir in the parmesan cheese.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste and serve warm.
