Ingredients
- 8 oz cream cheese
- 1 can Rotel tomatoes (diced tomatoes and green chilies)
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- Salt to taste
- Tortilla chips for serving
Instructions
- Soften the cream cheese in a medium mixing bowl in the microwave for about 30 seconds.
- Stir in the can of Rotel tomatoes, shredded cheddar cheese, sour cream, garlic powder, onion powder, and salt until well combined.
- Transfer the mixture to a slow cooker or a baking dish.
- If using a slow cooker, heat on low for about 60 minutes until bubbly. If using an oven, preheat to 350°F (175°C) and bake for about 20-25 minutes until hot and bubbly.
- Serve warm with tortilla chips.
Notes
For best results, use room-temperature cream cheese for a smoother consistency. You can add toppings like chopped green onions or jalapeños for extra flavor.
