Ingredients
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 onion, diced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 8 oz mushrooms, sliced
- 1 cup beef broth
- 1 cup sour cream
- 2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tsp paprika
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 8 oz egg noodles
- Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
- In a large skillet, brown the ground beef over medium heat. Drain excess fat.
- Add the diced onion and minced garlic, cooking until the onion is translucent.
- Stir in the sliced mushrooms and cook until softened.
- Pour in the beef broth, Worcestershire sauce, paprika, salt, and pepper. Simmer for about 5 minutes.
- Reduce heat and stir in the sour cream until well combined.
- Cook the egg noodles according to package instructions, then drain.
- Serve the beef mixture over the noodles and garnish with fresh parsley.
Notes
For best results, brown the meat well and scrape browned bits from the pan for added flavor. Don’t rush the mushroom step; wait until they are nicely browned.
