Ingredients
- 2 lbs chicken (boneless, skinless breasts or thighs)
- 4 scallions (chopped)
- 3 tablespoons soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- 2 cloves garlic (minced)
- 1 inch ginger (grated)
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Cooked rice (for serving)
Instructions
- Mix soy sauce, vegetable oil, sesame oil, garlic, ginger, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
- Marinate the chicken in this mixture for at least 30 minutes.
- Heat a skillet over medium-high heat and add a bit of oil.
- Sear the chicken until fully cooked, about 6-7 minutes on each side.
- Add the chopped scallions and cook for an additional 2 minutes.
- Serve warm over cooked rice.
Notes
For a twist, try using chicken thighs instead of breasts for more tenderness. Adding vegetables like bell peppers can enhance nutrition and color.
