Description

A quick and flavorful dish that combines tender beef with vibrant broccoli in a savory sauce, perfect for weeknight dinners or special occasions.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound beef (sliced thinly)
  • 2 cups broccoli florets
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons oyster sauce
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 2 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 1 teaspoon ginger (grated)
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Cooked rice (for serving)

Instructions

  1. Mix the soy sauce, oyster sauce, and cornstarch in a bowl. Set aside.
  2. Heat the vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  3. Add the sliced beef and cook until browned, about 3-4 minutes. Remove and set aside.
  4. In the same skillet, add garlic and ginger, sauté for 30 seconds.
  5. Add broccoli and cook for 2-3 minutes until bright green.
  6. Return the beef to the skillet and pour in the sauce mixture and beef broth. Cook until the sauce thickens and coats the beef and broccoli, about 2-3 minutes.
  7. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  8. Serve hot over cooked rice.

Notes

Ensure to not overcook the beef, keeping it tender and juicy. Serve with additional sauces for customization.
