Description

A quick and delicious blend of tender beef, vibrant broccoli, and chewy lo mein noodles, all tossed in a savory sauce.

Ingredients

  • 8 oz. lo mein noodles
  • 1 lb beef sirloin, sliced thinly
  • 2 cups broccoli florets
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons oyster sauce
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 1/4 cup water
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Sesame seeds for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Cook lo mein noodles according to package instructions, then drain and set aside.
  2. In a bowl, mix soy sauce, oyster sauce, cornstarch, and water to create the sauce.
  3. In a large skillet or wok, heat vegetable oil over medium-high heat.
  4. Add the sliced beef and cook until browned.
  5. Stir in minced garlic and broccoli florets, cooking until broccoli is tender-crisp.
  6. Add the cooked lo mein noodles and pour the sauce over the mixture, stirring well to combine.
  7. Cook for another 2-3 minutes until everything is heated through and well coated.
  8. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  9. Serve hot, garnished with sesame seeds if desired.

Notes

For best results, marinate the beef for at least 30 minutes and avoid overcooking the broccoli and noodles.
