A quick and delicious blend of tender beef, vibrant broccoli, and chewy lo mein noodles, all tossed in a savory sauce.
Ingredients
- 8 oz. lo mein noodles
- 1 lb beef sirloin, sliced thinly
- 2 cups broccoli florets
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons oyster sauce
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
- 1/4 cup water
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Sesame seeds for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Cook lo mein noodles according to package instructions, then drain and set aside.
- In a bowl, mix soy sauce, oyster sauce, cornstarch, and water to create the sauce.
- In a large skillet or wok, heat vegetable oil over medium-high heat.
- Add the sliced beef and cook until browned.
- Stir in minced garlic and broccoli florets, cooking until broccoli is tender-crisp.
- Add the cooked lo mein noodles and pour the sauce over the mixture, stirring well to combine.
- Cook for another 2-3 minutes until everything is heated through and well coated.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Serve hot, garnished with sesame seeds if desired.
Notes
For best results, marinate the beef for at least 30 minutes and avoid overcooking the broccoli and noodles.
