Description

Delightful Banana Pudding Bars featuring layers of creamy vanilla pudding and ripe bananas on a buttery cookie crust.

Ingredients

  • 1 package vanilla pudding mix
  • 2 cups milk
  • 3 ripe bananas, sliced
  • 1 tub whipped topping (e.g., Cool Whip)
  • 1 package of buttery shortbread cookies or graham crackers
  • 1/2 cup butter, melted

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, prepare the vanilla pudding by combining the pudding mix with the milk. Whisk until smooth and set aside to thicken.
  2. In a separate bowl, combine the crushed buttery cookies or graham crackers with melted butter until well mixed.
  3. Press the cookie mixture into the bottom of a greased 9×13 inch pan to form the crust.
  4. Layer half of the sliced bananas over the crust.
  5. Spread half of the prepared pudding over the bananas.
  6. Repeat the layers with the remaining bananas and pudding.
  7. Top with whipped topping and spread evenly.
  8. Refrigerate for at least 240 minutes before serving to allow it to set properly.
  9. Cut into bars and enjoy!

Notes

Banana Pudding Bars are best served chilled and can be garnished with additional banana slices or caramel sauce.
