Description
A creamy, tangy cheese ball blended with dill pickles and cheddar, perfect as a crowd-pleasing appetizer.
Ingredients
- 2 cups cream cheese, softened
- 1 1⁄2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup chopped dill pickles
- 1/4 cup chopped green onions
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Chopped nuts for coating (optional)
Instructions
- In a mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese and shredded cheddar cheese until well blended.
- Stir in the chopped dill pickles, green onions, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
- Shape the mixture into a ball or log.
- If desired, roll the cheese ball in chopped nuts to coat the outside.
- Wrap in plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 120 minutes to firm up.
- Serve with crackers or fresh vegetables.
