Description

A creamy, tangy cheese ball blended with dill pickles and cheddar, perfect as a crowd-pleasing appetizer.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups cream cheese, softened
  • 1 1⁄2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup chopped dill pickles
  • 1/4 cup chopped green onions
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Chopped nuts for coating (optional)


Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese and shredded cheddar cheese until well blended.
  2. Stir in the chopped dill pickles, green onions, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  3. Shape the mixture into a ball or log.
  4. If desired, roll the cheese ball in chopped nuts to coat the outside.
  5. Wrap in plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 120 minutes to firm up.
  6. Serve with crackers or fresh vegetables.
