Ingredients
- 8 oz pasta (penne, rigatoni, or your favorite shape)
- 1 pound Italian sausage, sliced into rounds
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup honey
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Chopped parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Cook the pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add the sausage and cook until browned.
- Add minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
- Stir in honey and soy sauce, mixing well.
- Add the cooked pasta to the skillet and toss everything together. Season with salt and pepper.
- Garnish with chopped parsley before serving.
Notes
For best results, do not overcook the pasta. Use room-temperature sausage for better browning. Adjust the sauce’s thickness with reserved pasta water as needed.
