Sticky Beef Noodles deliver tender beef and glossy sauce in a fast, comforting meal you can make in 30 minutes.
Ingredients
- 8 oz noodles (e.g., rice noodles or egg noodles)
- 1 lb beef (sliced thinly)
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons oyster sauce
- 2 tablespoons brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
- 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
- 2 cloves garlic (minced)
- 1 bell pepper (sliced)
- Green onions for garnish
Instructions
- Cook the noodles according to package instructions, then drain and set aside.
- In a bowl, mix soy sauce, oyster sauce, brown sugar, and cornstarch to make the sauce.
- Heat vegetable oil in a pan over medium-high heat.
- Add garlic and stir-fry for about 30 seconds.
- Add the sliced beef and cook until browned.
- Add bell pepper and stir-fry for an additional 2-3 minutes.
- Pour the sauce over the beef and peppers, stirring until thickened.
- Toss the cooked noodles in with the beef mixture until well combined.
- Serve hot, garnished with sliced green onions.
Notes
For perfect results, do not overcook the noodles. Keep high heat on the pan but lower it if the sauce starts to burn. Toss quickly and taste before serving.
