Description

Ground Beef Philly Cheesesteaks make a quick, cheesy dinner with onions and melted provolone. Easy, family-friendly, and ready in minutes.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 medium onion, sliced
  • 4 hoagie rolls
  • 4 slices provolone cheese
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Oil for sautéing

Instructions

  1. In a large skillet, heat a little oil over medium heat.
  2. Add the sliced onions and cook until softened.
  3. Add the ground beef to the skillet, breaking it apart with a spatula. Cook until browned and fully cooked. Season with salt and pepper.
  4. Place a slice of cheese over the beef mixture and allow it to melt.
  5. Toast the hoagie rolls slightly if desired, then fill each roll with the beef and onion mixture.
  6. Serve immediately and enjoy!

Notes

For best results, let the beef sit in the pan to brown, and make sure to toast the rolls to prevent sogginess.
