Ingredients
- 24 oz Frozen Cut Green Beans (Thawed)
- 10.5 oz Condensed Cheddar Soup
- 1/2 cup Milk (Regular or non-dairy)
- 1 tbsp Dehydrated Minced Onion
- 1 tsp Italian Seasoning
- 1 tsp Salt
- 1 tsp Pepper
- 1 cup Shredded Cheddar Cheese (Alternative: Monterey Jack or mozzarella)
- 1/2 cup Shredded Parmesan Cheese (Alternative: Pecorino Romano)
- 1 package Red Lobster Cheddar Bay Biscuit Mix (Or regular biscuit mix)
- 1/4 cup Butter (Melted, or olive oil as substitute)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F and grease a 9×13 baking dish.
- Thaw and drain the frozen green beans.
- In a large bowl, combine condensed cheddar soup, milk, dehydrated minced onion, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Whisk until smooth.
- Stir in shredded cheddar cheese and shredded Parmesan, keeping a bit for topping.
- Add the green beans and toss to coat evenly. Transfer to the baking dish.
- Prepare the biscuit mix per package, stirring in melted butter. Drop spoonfuls over the casserole.
- Bake for 20–25 minutes until biscuits are golden and sauce bubbles. Let rest for 5 minutes before serving.
Notes
Ensure not to overload the dish with milk for a creamy sauce. Let the casserole rest to allow the sauce to set.
