Description

An easy, cheesy holiday side featuring tender green beans, rich cheddar sauce, and a flaky biscuit topping.

Ingredients

  • 24 oz Frozen Cut Green Beans (Thawed)
  • 10.5 oz Condensed Cheddar Soup
  • 1/2 cup Milk (Regular or non-dairy)
  • 1 tbsp Dehydrated Minced Onion
  • 1 tsp Italian Seasoning
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1 tsp Pepper
  • 1 cup Shredded Cheddar Cheese (Alternative: Monterey Jack or mozzarella)
  • 1/2 cup Shredded Parmesan Cheese (Alternative: Pecorino Romano)
  • 1 package Red Lobster Cheddar Bay Biscuit Mix (Or regular biscuit mix)
  • 1/4 cup Butter (Melted, or olive oil as substitute)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F and grease a 9×13 baking dish.
  2. Thaw and drain the frozen green beans.
  3. In a large bowl, combine condensed cheddar soup, milk, dehydrated minced onion, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Whisk until smooth.
  4. Stir in shredded cheddar cheese and shredded Parmesan, keeping a bit for topping.
  5. Add the green beans and toss to coat evenly. Transfer to the baking dish.
  6. Prepare the biscuit mix per package, stirring in melted butter. Drop spoonfuls over the casserole.
  7. Bake for 20–25 minutes until biscuits are golden and sauce bubbles. Let rest for 5 minutes before serving.

Notes

Ensure not to overload the dish with milk for a creamy sauce. Let the casserole rest to allow the sauce to set.
