A quick, spicy salmon bake topped with fresh avocado for a healthy, flavorful dinner.
Ingredients
- 4 salmon fillets
- 2 tablespoons Cajun seasoning
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 avocado, diced
- 1 lime, juiced
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh cilantro for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Place the salmon fillets on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Drizzle olive oil over the salmon and sprinkle with Cajun seasoning, salt, and pepper.
- Bake in the preheated oven for about 12-15 minutes or until the salmon flakes easily with a fork.
- While the salmon is baking, prepare the avocado topping by combining diced avocado with lime juice, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
- Once the salmon is cooked, remove from the oven and top with the avocado mixture.
- Garnish with fresh cilantro if desired and serve immediately.
Notes
Use room-temperature salmon for even cooking. Adjust the heat of the Cajun seasoning according to taste.
